Over the past 25 years, I have written articles on urban living, urban design, public art, art exhibitions and travel for various newspapers and magazines.  A sample of recent work is included in this section.

I received an unsolicited email from Harry Hiller a professor at the University of Calgary “You play a unique role in the city because you are not a public servant but have a longstanding familiarity with the city and particularly the downtown. You write in a way that speaks to the average urbanite but also with a strong analytical and comparative base. I think it is neat that you go away and then compare Calgary to other cities.  Your “urban planning lens” is very good because it speaks to both people in the urban planning field and those who are not. You help all of us reflect on trends and what is happen in Calgary.”
