One of my fun things to do is wandering the streets and public places looking for hidden gems, urban surprises, chance encounters and quirky moments. At the end of each year I like to review my photo library to create a fun “street photography photo essay.”

For me a good street photo tells a story or at least make think about your everyday encounters with others. As such I am not going to add any captions this year, it will be up to think about a caption or a word for each photo.

I hope you enjoy this year’s street photo essay. Let me know what is your favourite 2025 street photo and why.

Everyday Tourist Tip: Be sure to scroll to the end as I MAY have left the best for last.

Hope you have enjoyed the blog. Perhaps the story is not in each individual photo, but in them collectively.
